The Shape of Traveling Nature — Nihonga by Mujimo
Japanese artist Mujimo presents a solo exhibition at Haneda Airport Garden, a new cultural hub directly connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3.
Inspired by the snow of Niseko, the sea of Hawaii, and the waves across Asia, Mujimo’s works express the beauty and motion of nature through sustainable Japanese painting techniques.Using only natural materials—such as kumohada washi, mineral pigments, and even coffee—each piece reflects her deep reverence for the earth.
In collaboration with the AI development company PINPON, this exhibition introduces an unmanned gallery experience guided by an AI avatar. Located at Japan’s international gateway, the exhibition invites visitors to enjoy a unique fusion of tradition and technology during their travels.
In addition to large-format paintings (F30), the exhibition features wearable and portable art pieces—including scarves, earrings, and paper goods—designed to bring the essence of Japanese art into everyday life.

旅する自然、日本画のかたちへ。
日本画家 Mujimo による個展が、羽田空港第3ターミナル直結の複合施設「羽田エアポートガーデン」にて開催されます。
ニセコの雪、ハワイの海、アジアの波──世界各地の自然から着想を得て描かれた作品は、雲肌麻紙や岩絵具、コーヒーなど天然素材のみで制作されたサステナブルな日本画です。
本展示では、AI開発企業「PINPON」の協力により、AIアバターが案 内する無人展示空間を構築。旅の合間にふらりと立ち寄れる“世界の玄関口”で、日本の伝統とテクノロジーが交差する新しいアート体験をお届けします。
また、日常に取り入れやすい形として、F30号サイズの日本画をもとにデザインされたスカーフ、イヤリング、紙ファイルなどの小物作品も展示。アートを“持ち帰れる”旅の記憶として提案します。
旅先から得た自然の美しさを、サステナブルなかたちで届ける。そんな小さな世界との出会いを、ぜひ羽田でお楽しみください。
