京都河原町ガーデンの4周年イベントに出演させていただきました。イベントは5月17日と18日の二日間にわたり開催されました。
We were invited to perform at the Kyoto Kawaramachi Garden's 4th anniversary event. The event was held over two days on May 17 and 18.

内容: 様々なパフォーマンスやアクティビティが行われました。
真っ白い大きなパネルを用意していただいて、日本画家Mujimoだけでなく街ゆく皆様にもペンやステンシルでお絵描きいただけるという楽しいイベントでした🎵
A large white panel was prepared for the event, and not only Mujimo, the Japanese-style painter, but also everyone on the street was invited to paint with pens and stencils 🎵.
京都の街のアイコンとなるようなイラスト「五重塔」「鳥居」「舞妓さん」「絵馬」など色々なステンシルを用意しました。お子様も、大人の方も、メッセージやイラストなど、思いおもいに描いてもらえました。
We prepared various stencils such as “five-story pagoda,” “torii gate,” “maiko,” “ema,” and other illustrations that would become icons of Kyoto city. Children and adults alike were able to draw their own messages and illustrations.
京都伏見の千本鳥居が登場。全てステンシルで仕上げました。ステンシル作品は、私の日本画作品でもいくつかありますが、こんなに大きい作品は初めてでした。どう仕上げようか終わってからもずっと考えながら帰路につきました。
それにしてもたくさんの方に描いて楽しんでいただけてよかったです。
The Senbon-torii gate in Fushimi, Kyoto appears. All finished with stencils. I have several stencil works in my Japanese painting works, but this was the first time for me to create such a large work. I kept thinking about how to finish it afterwards as I headed home.
I am glad that so many people enjoyed drawing them.

また、京都河原町ガーデン4周年記念イベントを一緒に楽しめて本当によかったです。河原町駅直通、鴨川すぐそこ、清水寺や祇園も徒歩圏内のたいへん便利で素敵な場所、観光の際にはぜひチェックしてください！

Thank you very much for your participation! We hope this event was an opportunity for people to learn that using stencils is an easy and simple way to draw pictures and enjoy playing with colors. Painting and having fun is a low hurdle 🎵.
Also, it was really nice to enjoy the Kyoto Kawaramachi Garden 4th Anniversary event with you. It is a very convenient and nice place, directly connected to Kawaramachi Station, right next to the Kamo River, and within walking distance of Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Gion!
